I completely agree that there is no need to redeem Teapot. He's so much more interesting when he's at his devious best. However, the same holds true for The Diva. She should never be written as the heroine or the damsel in distress dependent on a big, strong man to constantly rescue her. The character's popularity was a result of The Diva being a hell raising, devious bitch for years. I'd much rather have that The Diva back over the one we've had more often than not over the past 3 or 4 years.

I do think this is a half attempt at a redemption story for Elvis, but where do you go, especially with The Diva. Married check, kids check, family opposed check, sexy counterpart check ....been there done that how many times? I'm bored.
Exactly-- where do you go with Teapot if you redeem him? Do you have The Diva and him living the 9-5 life where they each go to work and attend soccer games, church board meetings, and have family game nights? That's just so exciting. Or do you have Teapot being redeemed until he wins over The Diva and then have him go back to being the half-assed villain he was before, in which case The Diva Crybaby Horton explode when she finds out that he really never did change and go stomping out the door of the mansion, kids in tow, realizing she never should have left Eyebrows Magoo in the first place.
Teapot shouldn't be redeemed. He is a villain; he is a gray character-- let him be who he is and has been for the past 6 years. Days needs villains; the show already has enough good guys.
