As I previously speculated, it seems that it would be best to approach the guest list with the following question in mind: "Whose presence will make the inevitable reveals more dramatic?"
Which is the perfect way to handle the guest list, IMO, but I agree that it's obviously not going to make sense in some cases. That doesn't bother me, though.
Also, Kate's presence almost completely guarantees that the truth about the baby's paternity will be revealed at the wedding, IMO. I don't think that she would care about Gabi's involvement in Melanie's kidnapping. Unless something about Parker is going to be revealed at the wedding, too....
Kate.s vanity will be tweaked at the idea of being a great grandma.
