I'm just catching up on the guest list and everyone is related to Will. It almost sounds like a Will/Gabi do the right thing wedding, haha. Maybe Will is just rated to everyone in town so that's why it seems that way.

Also , I know that Allie and Nick are cousins, but I find it mighty strange that the writers would remember this and drag her out of Caroline's attic for his wedding.

They didn't. Sami suggested Allie for flowergirl because she apparently adores Gabi. No mention was made of her being related to Nick.
