I don't think Nick has even mentioned that little tidbit to Gabi yet has he? Unless I missed it. It was implied, but never explicitly mentioned. Billie went to the Brady Pub to formally deliver the Mad World job offer to Nick, and Gabi picked up on the fact that there seemed to be some sort of history between them. Gabi wondered if she needed to be jealous, and Nick said that she had no reason to worry...and that was the end of the discussion.
