I've only really watched Eastenders all the way through, Hollyoaks on/off (skipped the summer). So with that in mind ... Best Soap: Hollyoaks Worst Soap: Coronation Street (Edale will always suck, but Corrie's capable of being so much better) Best Story: Mercedes stalking Mitzeee/Babynapping, Hollyoaks Worst Story: Who's Fucking Kat, Eastenders Best Actor: Adam Woodyatt (Ian), Eastenders Worst Actor: Emmett Scanlan (Brendon), Hollyoaks Best Actress: Gillian Wright (Jean), EastEnders Worst Actress: Anna Shaffer (Ruby), Hollyoaks Best Couple: Joey & Lauren, Eastenders Worst Couple: Ste & Doug, Hollyoaks Best Villian: Derek Branning, Eastenders Worst Villian: Walker, Hollyoaks Best Character: Mitzeee, Hollyoaks Worst Character: Brendon Brady, Hollyoaks Best Return / Best Newcomer: Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater), EastEnders Worst Return: The cross dresser in Corrie Best New Character: I guess Joey, Eastenders? Its not been a great year for any of my regulars in terms of casting though. Worst Newcomer/Worst New Character: Dr. Paul Browning (Joe Thompson), Hollyoaks Best Short Term Character: I'll probably think of someone better later, but Gary Lucy (Danny) Eastenders Best Exit: I'm torn. Pat Butcher, Eastenders & Maddie Morrison, Hollyoaks.
