I think Tomlin believes Marlena encroaches on his view that Sami is the "lead heroine" on the show. Sorry, dude. Marlena >>> Sami. Now and forever. Well, Tomlin was the one who got rid of John and Marlena last time, when he fired Deidre and Drake. So, yeah, one could assume they're not among his favorites.
