That he sacrifices everything and moves all the way to Biloxi.
That's what's playing at the Roxy.
As a musical theater fan, I'll tip my hat to the writer who came up with that reference, lol. And sure, it's dated. But Guys and Dolls is a piece that is being done constantly around the country in high school, college, and community theatre productions.

That bit is actually a lead in to the title song. And there are some lines there that remind me of EJ on NYE:

When a bum buys wine like a bum can't afford
It's a cinch that the bum is under the thumb of some little broad.
...
