How many months was that? About 8? JER got fired in the beginning of 2006 right and Sheffer got there in the fall of 2006 right? Or was it less? The biggest problem I see at Days is the fact that they film 3 months ahead.....they have NO WAY to tackle a story that isn't being well received by the audience, what they do is come out with half assessed Corday statements that' things will change by xx date' and to keep watching to see the conclusion...then he goes on and tells them the fans want something else. That is not the way to tackle a soap story failure.....if they only had 4 to 6 week lead time then they'd easily correct the story, shift it or stop it altogether, now they have to wait for 3 months until they do anything.
