His reason changed day by day. One day she'd abused him emotionally since the day he was born, the next she had been jealous of him because John loved him even though Isabella gave birth to him, then it was because she was jealous of Isabella, then it was because he believed John and Marlena had gotten together and killed Isabella (Marlena had used her sexy wily ways to seduce innocent John into killing his souwmate, the wuv of his lyfe according to Brady - which is about the only thing I'll give John credit for during this period, he always maintained that Marlena was his soulmate).
