I'm thinking of the Tanners and the Scotts and the Faiths and such. (Brian Scofield was excellent though. Sadly, I think never getting a solid love interest did him in.) Contrast that with Rafe and Dan. They suck. They're poorly drawn. Yet they have been shoved as the leads for years now. What's up with that?
