Posts: 875 Group: Members Member #11,914 Joined: May 9, 2012	Oh, and another element of the adoption story, Jo, Adrienne's mother, gave her two sons up for adoption to protect them from their abusive father and poverty. She wasn't ever vilified for that, although Harper Deveraux and his first wife were portrayed as lousy for only wanting Billy and not taking older brother Steve. Steve was angry at his mother for awhile, but I think he understood. I keep bringing the adoption angle up, but I do think it's a missing piece in the story. Wouldn't it be nice if Will's Uncle Jack was around to talk about his experience?
