Then they'll have Sami gripe out Marlena, call her names, and expect the audience to cheer for Sami as she defies Marlena. Won't work. Sami is nobody's victim. She's fallen prey to her own schemes in the past, but she gives as good as she gets. I doubt the writing team will go that route (at least I hope they don't!).
