Probably more related to yesterdays show than todays Eric said "Kristen and him go way back" Is there anything more to the Eric Kristen story or is it just all the things Kristen did to Marlena that link the two of them? Jensen Ackles came on-screen as Eric on July 28, 1997 and Eileen Davidson left on April 24, 1998. I was watching at the time (however, I did miss episodes here and there) and don't recall much interaction. So, in a sense, they were in town at the same time for about 8 months but I'm pretty sure the only link is the stuff Kristen did to Marlena. And I believe he was brought back right around the time Josh Taylor's Roman was introduced after Kristen and Stefano brought him back to Salem to interrupt John and Marlena's wedding. (yep, just checked and Taylor first appeared July 18th, 1997).
