I guess its based on total episode counts over a lifetime. Maybe that explains Joe Mascolo as lead actor. It's not based on anything. For this year Deidre doesn't belong in the lead category either, but Peggy has never belonged there. One year, either Renee Jones or Lauren Koslow was listed as lead. There's just no rhyme or reason to any of this whole process.
