I think Will is dating a combination of his father and his grandmother Marlena! The only two stable people in his life, coincidentally. Seriously, they should start using Sonny as a defacto therapist, chatting with people about their problems over coffee. FS does empathy really well, and I do think Sonny is very Marlena-like in that way.
