EJ has never respected Lucas. Lucas never respected EJ even from the very beginning. Can you blame them? I mean, really. Those two have absolutely no reason to trust or even like each other Exactly. The one thing they did right with EJucas is they did have each man respect each other's parental rights. Lucas stood up for EJ when Sami wanted to hide her pregnancy from him and refused to pretend the baby was his. He thought EJ deserved to know the truth. EJ stood up for Lucas when Sami didn't want to share custody of Allie with him after he returned from jail. As long as they continue to respect each other's parental rights (unlike Rafe) like EJ did today giving Lucas and Sami privacy to talk about their grandchild, I'm cool. I like them otherwise hating each other's guts and snarking whenever they are in each other's presence and away from the kids. Edited by spartan, Feb 23 2013, 12:57 PM.
