However, DA airs on ITV with commercials, so each episode clocks in at about 45 minutes or so without them. ITV is one of the primary UK TV networks/channels (alongside BBC-One, Channel 4, Channel 5, and SKY1). Only BBC-One (and it's sister channels BBC-Two & BBC-Three) are commercial free because they're state supported via television taxes.
