Okay, these Days love scenes are so unbelievably terrible. It's looks like a 1998 low-budget porno
TomSell really need to work on their choreography of love scenes. Although the big-assed fire going in the Horton cabin fireplace was a welcome distraction from the Fetch scenes, the glowing flowers today were one prop/effect too many. Yeah, we know there's supposed to be an eternal flame burning in Dannifer's hearts for each other, and we know it's springtime and the love birds of EJ and Sami are twitterpated and all is right in their world. We don't need cheap f/x to drive these points home, especially when I'd rather see Elvis than the flowers.

I think it's the episode directors that choreograph the love scenes, but I agree with the rest of your post. I could really do without the romantic cliches, cheesy songs and attempts to be artistic. I'd much rather they stick to showing pretty bodies, hot kisses and suggestive movement.
I agree. When they had Will and Sonny's love scene in November it was tastefully filmed although the background music left a lot to be desired. Of course since it was two guys they did not show much of the actual "lovemaking" but what they did show and the afterglow scenes were beautiful and romantic.
The crappy love scenes have been fairly recent. I think it started with bristen and they're super-speed lovin', then went to EJAMI's dark room love-fest then moved on to the awful, awful, awful dannifer scene, and then back to the sami/ej DiMansion scene.

It's like the Days team is experimenting with what works in their love scenes, but the problem is that NOTHING that they've done so far works.

Gross Music + Gross Lighting + Weird Slow-mo + rose petal + Super Speed = A bunch of craptastic love scenes.
