Yep. I don't think its really a wrong statement. I do think there are people they could do different things with, but they do know most of the actor's strengths and they're showing it. Its been a very slow progression, but over time I've seen major changes in how they're writing different people. I would say James Scott isn't being used to the best of his talents. But like Ellie said the lawyer thing works for him, they just need to get some more things right with him. The character of EJ has never been fleshed out and there have been SO many different version of him. |
Using someone who just isn't all that talented is totally different from not knowing their strengths. So there are some things that no writer can help.
