I don't think AZ and JS have any chemistry. At all. So I don't mind it. However, AZ said to a group of us in ATL that their lack of scenes was very intentional and that the writers had definitely intentionally cut all ties between the two. While I don't like them together, I think that's moronic. It just seems lazy and since I don't think they have chemistry anyway, it's hard for me to imagine that it's because they think they're just so much obviously better. The whole thing is just so weird, IMO.
Yeah, she said it was all EJ & Sami. While I prefer EJ & Sami, I do think EJ & Nicole have some chemistry & I don't see why they can't have some scenes between the two. They're having Safe scenes (kind of) & I think they have zero chemistry.....maybe that's why. Who knows...it is weird.

In the end, I prefer Nicole with Eric or Brady.
That's what she said to my group too, which is fine by me. I like the character of Nicole, just never liked the whiny, crying mess she became around EJ. I was bummed they didn't delve into a Nicole/Rafe relationship, I actually thought the two of them had some good chemistry together.
The problem with it, IMO, is that it automatically cuts off TONS of possible conflicts. It also kind of does come across like they can't share screentime because they'd be better than what's airing. I don't happen to think that's true, but that's why I think it's so weird. Cutting ties so sharply is just always a dumb move, IMO.
