I don't think there is a word in English language I have a love/hate relationship with more than 'interesting'. I love it because it's the most neutral word to say when you don't want to say how you really feel about something. I hate it because it's so ambiguous. It could mean a thousand things, good or bad. Like in this tweet. 'Interesting' could mean, "Where do they get this stuff rom?", but it could also mean, "Yep, there's something cooking here."
