I would hate to see a storyline about Bo simply leaving his family behind or even worse, moving in with Carly in Europe or wherever she is now, as a way to explain his absence. I feel like they should use it as an opportunity to usher Shawn and Belle back in. Supposedly dead (lost) at sea. Shawn returns to deliver the news. They really could write a great return story for those two with this.
