They will do what they always do. They will show some events live, but hold the "marquee" events until prime time, where it will be heavily edited and filled with fluffy stories about the athletes. Meanwhile, plenty of people will be watching full coverage of the actual events live via P2P sites online or YouTube clips. In 2006, I flew to Torino during the men's long program. During a layover in Chicago, I watched most of the event hours before it aired on U.S. television. And pretty much every other country's coverage is the far superior to listening to NBC. (The British Eurosport commentators are hysterical, but I will take not understanding Chinese or Russian announcers any day over Scott Hamilton's screeching.)
