What makes a webseries a daytime (or primetime) show? I love how the Emmys are appropriating them, but to my mind it's a little off.
That's what I'd like to know. Why is House of Cards primetime, but Tainted Dreams daytime, when they're both available anytime? Is it in the number of episodes or the length of episodes? Does some weird mathematics decide what prize a show will compete for? Or is it about the people associated with these shows? Like, does someone think that Kevin Spacey and other Netflix stars are too big to compete for a Daytime Emmy?
