I always try to keep in mind that what and actor thinks is fabulous and exciting to play is often different from what a lot of viewers want to see. It doesn't make either opinion any less valid or correct.
I was just about to say that. I think the actors often times really do feel stories are fare more interesting than what we feel when we see it play out. I also have to believe many of them are just content to still having a paying job, especially in a still very shitty economy. I remember Freddie pimping the bullying stuff with Tad and I was so disappointed in watching it because barely anything played out with it and it was all like a stand alone episode that didn't amount to anything. So maybe he simply was excited about finally something happening to his character or he really did think it was more exciting than how most fans felt watching it.
