They should just do another panel discussion like they did on C-span for the 35 anniversary and just let C-span cover it.|
I remember I think it was Walter Cronkite who said that back then the tubes on their studio cameras took at least 30 minutes to heat up so they could get on the air with the news. They were running the ATWT feed at the time, and finally came on air with the news.
Now with all the advances in technology, they can come on with their news instantly and shove a bunch of unneeded press conferences too. In some cases, some of that stuff could wait for the evening news.
