TIIC have screwed up Jennifer as a character so much since her 2010 return. She's a shadow of what she once was, and not a sympathetic shadow either. Her positive qualities--spunk, compassion, kindness, even ambition--have been diminished, while her negative qualities, such as self-righteousness, fickleness, and hypocrisy, have increased exponentially. And instead of working to fix the character, TomSell are instead throwing himbos at her in the hopes that another, non-Jack pairing will magically make her likable again. Or they vilify other women--Nicole, Chloe, Anne, Theresa--by having them plot against Jennifer so she'll seem more sympathetic by comparison. Except neither tactic is working. Jennifer doesn't stand a chance of being the beloved character she once was, unless the writers put some thought into her as an individual and try to restore what was lost.
