Pretty dumb move in a Top 25 market.......

St Louis Station Bumps DOOL

....NBC won't preempt "Days of Our Lives" -- its only remaining daytime drama, just renewed for two more years -- during the Winter Olympics, beginning Thursday in Sochi, Russia. NBC will air two hours of weekday coverage 2-4 p.m. the weeks of Feb. 10 and Feb. 17, but only the Feb. 20 episode of "DOOL" won't be broadcast.

But KSDK (Channel 5) runs "DOOL" during that two-hour window, so the station has opted to bump the show to its digital channel, 5.2.

Antenna users get that channel; so do Charter cable subscribers. But people with AT&T's U-verse, Dish Network and DirecTV don't get any of the local stations' digital sub-channels, so they're out of luck......

note time change for St.Louis
(the following was on another thread, so I'm copy/pasting it here)

For Days watchers in ST. LOUIS,Mo which typically airs Monday through Friday at 2 p.m., will be airing on a different channel and airing at a different time during the 2014 Winter Olympics so that NewsChannel 5 can bring you bring you coverage of the games from Sochi, Russia.

From February 10 through February 21 (with the exception of Thursday, February 20), Days of Our Lives will be televised Monday through Friday at 6 p.m. over the air on our digital channel 5.2 and on Charter Cable analog channel 87 (digital channel 188) . Both channels are identified as Bounce TV.

If you are an AT&T U-verse, Direct TV, or Dish customer you will not be able to see Days on TV, but you will be able watch the episodes online at NBC.com.

NBC has preempted the Days of Our Lives for February 20, therefore no episode will air on that date.

Like Jason already said ... there is *no* Feb 20th DOOL episode being broadcast anywhere, so nobody will miss anything that day.
