It's a different length of time in some states, but it's at least 7 to 10 years. I have an aunt and uncle who could leagally claim each other on documents because they were common law married. After living together 20 years, even though they were already married, my uncle suddenly:Posted Image out of nowhere, so they did the whole wedding, honeymoon shebang. He was always romantic like that though. :wub: My aunts' married co-workers would get jealous every valentine's day because unlike their spouses, he never forgot.
I need myself one of those guys! How cute! Do they have adultish kiddos?

(I think it's 7 years here too - Norway - for common-law.)
