UPCOMING NOVEMBER TRIAL TO FEATURE ANOTHER FACE FROM THE PAST...

Posted Image

Marsha Clark (Judge Fitzpatrick) won't be the only return for the upcoming November Sweeps trial. Expect another familiar face from the past to be involved too.

JOHN NEWMAN MAY BE BACK AS SCRIPT WRITER...ADDITIONAL CHANGES IN CREDITS BELOW:

Didn't have time to watch yesterday's episode until now, so just saw all of these changes in the 9/7 credits:

John Newman (the son of long-time "Days" writer Fran Myers) listed as Script Writer (but not listed in today's 9/8 credits).
Edwin Klein replaces Ryan Quan in doing double duty as a writers' assistant.
Senior wardrobe staff member Adam Talbott gone; Jennifer Seery in.
Hairstylist Dana Vargas gone; Daniela Martinez and Curran Crockett added as new hairstylists.
Also, from today's 9/8 credits: Alma Delfina (who popped up in credits again on 9/6) is no longer listed.

ALMA LISTED AGAIN...

Alma Delfina (Adriana) was listed again today in the credits, after being removed last week, so it may just be a mistake, or she might have another appearance still to air.

Principal Guest Stars: Week of Tuesday 9/6/16-Friday 9/9/16

Interesting changes. Melissa Salmons posted on Twitter she had scripts up to Halloween. I wonder who will fill her spot?

The third writer, RD, was just mentioned in the September 6th discussion. Maybe he's there because of Dena's instability...

I wish someone would get some blackmail material on Lorraine Broderick and force her to take the Head Writer position...

Was that around the time Dena was brought in then or was that before?

And Christopher Dunn is on Y&R. So, likely more changes to come.

Draughon became Co-HW during the summer until Whitesell came on in October. Before Draughon, Higley was writing with Victor Gialanella from April when she was "officially" Head Writer. Although many suspect she was secretly writing during the strike.

I think Dena likes Rick. He was around during her 2003 stint and came in as a co-HW right before Tomlin came in as EP and Whitesell came in as co-HW in late 2008.

It may be a good idea to have him there. With Dena's "post it note" style, having two co-head writers with her may be a tremendous asset.

So all the villains, JLB and KDP are listed as guest stars (I know KDP probably returns one more time).

No longer Xander Cook.
I typed him up as Cook automatically, but then checked to see if they changed it.

For some reason, I don't recall Dave Ryan. I guess Beth Milstein is out then and not dropping to the breakdown writer spot some thought. Is she back at Y&R?

Any ideas who might take the Christopher Dunn and Melissa Salmons spots based perhaps on who Dena has had on the team from prior stints?
