That's understandable. For that one i side with Victor. I truly hated this story and Chloe at the time.
Does anyone remember how he handled Broe's wedding in 2005? I know he was there, but I can't remember anything about his reaction to it. I don't remember him being mad.
I don't think he cared either way. I think at the time he was more obsessed with Belle staying with Philip.

Hey Brady yelling at everyone doesn't make you tough. As the matter of fact make you judgemental and stupid.
Like Victor is?

He was too busy locking Nicole in rooms - and threatening to have his henchman kill her to be concerned about Chloe.

(Also I guess he was pissed because Brady spent the night before the wedding at the townhouse with Marlena.)

Now I get that it's called the Kiriakis mansion, and I actually don't mind a lot of characters living under the same roof. As I said before, it allows for different character interactions. Having said that, I'm having a hard time not rolling my eyes at 12 people now living in this house. And that's not even counting Henderson and the rest of the staff! How many bedrooms is this house supposed to have, exactly?
17 - I remember Sonny telling Sami that when she was going to search Nick & Gabi's bedroom for the flash drive of Will's confession and she did not know which room to look. He said "are you going to search all 17 bedrooms?"
I hate to ask - but remind me why Nick and Gabi were living at the Kiriakis mansion?
Nick was on parole and one of the conditions was he had to live with a family member, and since Maggie was his family (Aunt) she asked Vic to let him stay. Gabi and Nick were married at the time I believe.(Gabi was pregnant with Arianna).

I did not liked Brady with Chloe back in the day. I would rather it always be, Phil and Chloe. Brady is much better off with Kristen, in my opinion. Too bad that Eileen Davidson is not returning any time soon.
I hated Bristin because she was way too old for Brady and not only that she changed his clothes and gave him a bath when he was a toddler. No thanks to step mommy having sex with her step son again. It was gross to begin with to see them making out and they had zero chemistry. :puke:

Was that still happening with Nicole then?

It could have been a bad episode but all the funny lines saved it for me. Kudos to the scriptwriter.

Honestly, I didn't mind the Kiriakis stuff yesterday! Granted they are my favorite family, although I could live without a couple of of the men in those scenes. I just can't with Demios and Brady. Honestly, I wish Demios would go away and Brady would go back to the boring Black. family. Justin needs to be running the Kirikais family. Victor needs to retire lol. I'm glad that both Sonny and Justin found about Clyde being behind Sonny's stabbing. Give me more of the real Kiriakis men.

Loved Nicole/Chloe scenes. Actually was able to enjoy Nicole for the first time in a long time. Keep her away from Demios. Dario and no more damn Daniel talk.

Kate/Andre just annoy me. Can do without them. Actually. Anything about the Dimeras I can do without.

The same with the Hernandez family too- minus Gabi- she's the only one I can tolerate. I don't care about Dario he and his father and brother can go away.

Thank goodness their was no Maggie and the annoying Rope and that annoying teens.

I didn't go into why I hated today because it becomes redundant, but in case I look back later...

1. The spoiler killed it for me before it even aired. It sounds so caveman. And the Kiriakises are targets, but they're secondary targets. They're not the main concerns of any of the villains.

2. The whole premise was based on the idea that the mansion is super safe. We literally just watched a man hold hostages there. So the premise fails miserably.

3. I think Victor's schtick is old and worn out. I've thought that for years. It's not cute. It's not even funny because it's so unoriginal and not even based on anything. They continue to not let anyone point out how ridiculous and hypocritical he is, so that makes it even worse.

4. Deimos just flat out shouldn't exist. I don't buy that Victor would live as a guest in his own home. I don't buy that the whole family wouldn't just now have thrown him out a window.

5. What was the point of the Victor Philip moment last week if we've still made no progress.

6. Justin and Sonny can do so much better than those other losers.

7. Andre is completely irrelevant. All these villains are around. They're not even pretending he's a legit villain anymore.

8. I don't mind that they're re-establishing Kate Chad, but I wish they had actually taken the time to re-establish them instead of just throwing the back together. And the idea that they're going to be a family with Andre is absolutely absurd.

9. One positive, they do seem to be giving Kate some humanity back. She doesn't feel as one note and cartoony.

10. Why is Dario still a thing?

11. I like Eduardo but Kate Eduardo was never anything.

12. I don't hate the Nicole Chloe friendship but it also doesn't play well anymore.

13. Nicole's stance on Deimos makes no sense.

14. Chloe's stance on Deimos makes no sense.

15. Deimos' continued presence makes no sense.

I agree with everything Lysie said, but I didn't hate today's ep...I didn't really like it either but it was watchable.

I haven't been watching. There's nothing happening that I care about now. I like that Xander is back, but the other two not so much. I find the idea that Clyde is going after Thomas because he wants a baby for Ben to be a HUGE stretch. And I wasn't watching the show back in the 80's so Orpheus is completely lost on me. I know others are enjoying it but I'm not interested in a rehash of a story line that's almost 40 years old. Also, he was presumed dead but ended up in prison and no one realized it was him? Didn't they take his fingerprints when they threw him in jail?????? It's the Salem PD so prob'ly not....It just seems really tired.

But my big issue is that so far its been soooo anti-climactic. These three bad guys pop in, scare people and then just walk out. Like the scene with Kate, Clyde & Chad: Kate just stood there & watched the tussle, then..when Chad knocked the gun out of Clyde's hand it didn't occur to her to grab the gun off the floor? & then-- again--Clyde just ran out scott free. Criminals going free in Salem is nothing new (HOPE, DEIMOS, CHASE). This SL had potential but its just not panning out for me(again, no surprise there).

The whole show just seems worn out to me. We had the whole Necktie Killer SL. Then Yo Lin & the virus (another anti-climactic yawn). Chabby was interesting for a bit (I'm trying to hang in there for Abby's return). Then Deimos & a loooong stretch of nothing worth watching. Now this. I need characters I care about & a story I can sink my teeth into & want to watch.

Chase is in a mental institution (and can't just check himself out), has acknowledged what he did, lost the chance to start college on time, and lost every relationship he had in Salem.

What he did was awful and Ciara should never have to see his face or hear his name again, but I don't see how he went free, especially compared to some others.

If they're going to continue with days like this, I'm going to need a loop of Xander doing push-ups at the bottom of the screen.

Was at my sisters today (Wed) & saw a bit of the end of today's ep (was it as confusing as it seemed?). She was saying how tired she is of all these murder stories. As she said, it's been a solid year now of one psycho/killer after another & people dying right & left. She's been watching since we were kids consistently & she said, "These days its been like watching one long agonizing death."

^ I totally agree. The thing is, the deaths and disasters have so little impact now because they've destroyed half of the families and don't provide any fallout.

* The Great Orange Crapweasel doesn't count. I'm fully expecting an anniversary show commemorating the first year Salem's been without Dr. Dan.

LOL. It wouldn't surprise. We already get an almost weekly reminder of his greatness :(:(

The age difference (because of the SORASing) wasn't all that big. Somehow nobody sees a problem when a man is a decade older. Bristen looked good together and had great chemistry. ED was one of the best EM acting partners, he was convincing in the scenes with her. Can't say the same about his more recent co-stars.

I don't think anyone would have cared about their age difference if she hadn't been a mother figure to him the last time she was on the show.

Watched this today, I can do without an entire half of the Kiriakis men (Brady, worn out Victor, nonsense Deimos) and it's tough for me whenever this set is the central focus of the story. And it played badly that not a single one among Nicole, Chloe, Maggie, and Theresa were there, even though I don't care for their scenes lately since I don't like the story. I do like Sonny and his new attitude and I love seeing Justin. But otherwise, meh.
