I don't like Theresa and I don't care about her being a designer, but her giving up this easily doesn't ring true at all.

ICAM! After all the bitching and whining about starting a business for herself. Now she wants to just toss it away? Not buying it.
I used to be annoyed by the Thrady nonsense. Now, knowing she leaves, I don't care anymore. That's why not being spoiler free is a good thing. lol

I didn't dislike this episode, Deimos notwithstanding. While I don't adore JPL as Philip I certainly don't hate him either, and I quite liked Philip and Chloe's interactions at the hospital. They do feel natural together. And it's funny because I actually think JPL's ... hrm, lack of overt romantic aura? ... helps me buy them as comfortable friends and gets me intrigued about the prospect of mining their history. And I "like" Deimos best when he's being unsympathetic because at least VI plays that well and his dialogue on Friday didn't seem as bad to me. I "like" him better in Chloe's orbit than whatever the hell is supposed to be happening with Nicole, which is not a high bar, but yano.

I enjoyed that in one episode Kate talked to Billie on the phone and talked about her relationships with Lucas and Philip to Andre. I actually appreciated Andre when he pointed out how Kate could demonstrate her concern for her sons more productively. When she's not solely the landing pad for new male characters over the age of 50 she's better. Still not perfect, but better. I liked that this time Philip had to beg Kate to interfere, it kept her involvement from feeling like regression. I don't know if that will hold in the future but on this day it worked for me.

I feel like this week has been a great demonstration of how mixing up character interactions just innately freshens up the show. I don't know if the stories are that much better aside from that, but seeing people have conversations and interactions outside of their bubbles has been delightful. While Friday was not as fun for me as Wednesday and Thursday and did feel anticlimactic, it still had some nice things to offer.

I even liked Gabi and Chad reminiscing about high school and especially about growing up quickly (which I thought brought their characters into a bit of focus), and thought BF and CB had decent chemistry.

Did not care at all about Theresa even given Eve. Her scene with Justin was nice enough though. I wish Brady was leaving with Theresa.

Really enjoyed seeing Lucas, Adrienne and Theo at the mansion. I also don't mind Claire as an annoying teen, she's a teenager and that's how they are, and I think ORK plays rebellious better than VJ, who is less painful to watch when Ciara is well-behaved than when she's drunk on top of a bar.

ETA: Am I getting my days mixed up? I must be ...

I didn't mind this episode. I like Chad and gabi and although I ultimately love Chad with Abby I understand that she is now supposed to be dead. Many people sleep with others when their spouses die it is a way to forget the pain if even for a little while. This is very soapy and I'm ready for this story line.

Why do I get a feeling Deimos is not a father of Chloe's baby and Brady is? If I remember correctly Chloe told Phillip that Brady came to visit her in Chicago. Well, I'm not surprised if writers go with Broe.
It will probably be Daniel. Another Jonas baby. Ugh.
If Mime Bo can be Ciara's father when he wasn't anywhere even physically near Hope/Gina, then Philip can be the actual father of Chloe's baby. Weirder things have happened on this show.

And since they won't make Parker a Kiriakis again, I'd be happy with a new Phloe baby. :)

I did appreciate the Last Blast references and the nods to their history in this episode.
