Victor was a father figure to Xander. Ok Nicole lol
Look how Victor treats his son, Philip. He's not much of a father figure to anyone but Brady. Victor ONLY looks out for Victor.
He pretty consistently tells Brady how stupid and worthless he is as well, complete with abusing whoever the current woman in Brady's life happens to be (other than Mel I guess).

I'm quite confused as to why Brady chooses Victor over his other family.

Clyde is gone. Roman telling Theo he was wrong
What happened to CIARA? I thought she was with Theo. To stop him from doing something stupid. Can't believe J.J. was the only cop assigned to capture Clyde. Steve is not a cop. Of course J.J. loses Clyde.

LOL! Paul is assisting the SPD...at the pub?? Why wouldn't he be there with John, Faux and Patch at the station? John's about to go meet with Orpheus and Paul just had to go to the pub for a brew? But that's okay he's got his laptop

Nice that Kayla's at the station, but I guess finishing up that profile of Xander takes precedence over being there for Marlena.
The Pub was "Command Center" - instead of the BlackPatchoffice or the interrogation room at S.P.D. The Pub where everybody seems to be hovering. Paul was in charge of the laptop and monitoring John's whereabouts, and intercepting information of the location of Clyde/hostage Joey. Hard work there and getting Sonny's attention and adoration for rescuing his newly remembered cousin (has he mentioned him during this ordeal? No, he was more interested in Losing Kiriakas business at the docks than the hostage situation.

Think how much boring it would be if they hadn't started with three non amigos when R/D took over.

I think Orphy plans on blowing up the town and try to kill as many people as he can.

I want to see major characters trapped after a huge explosion.
Probably the Kiriakas mansion is target #1 since Deimos has everybody and his brother living there.

Thank you JCP.

I guess it true, everyone works out of their laptops these days. The K's don't have an office, neither do the D's. or even Black Patch only has a desk.

Fauxman!! Your mortal enemy is in town!! go face him, go confront him. stop letting John do all the dirty work for you.
WN's Roman wouldn't be just standing around. I'm ready for JT's version to be an imposter. It's such a disgrace to who Roman used to be!
Ha, I've been ready since the day Kristen wheeled him into St. Luke's!

I liked all the character interaction today. I like that Joey got away and nobody's blood was shed in the process. Yeah, maybe the dialogue wasn't everything we could hope for and maybe a couple of teens today weren't up to the bad dialogue they were given but all in all I was pretty happy with the episode.

I don't blame Sonny for being angry at Chad. What I don't get is Chad thinking it's no big deal. You stabbed one of your best friends in the back and you have the nerve to tell him it's not personal, just business. I don't see how Chad can ever make this right. His resolve to keep DiMera Enterprises legit crumbled quicker than a soufflé falls when you slam the oven door shut. So sad. Chad is better as the 'good' DiMera, I don't want him turned into a mini EJ or god forbid mine Andre.

I liked how John, Paul and the police got the upper hand on Orpheus and crew. The bad guys can't always be holding the winning hand. But John was right when he says their failure today will make them even more bloodthirsty. I wonder what kind of plan Marlena has come up with. Speaking of Marlena - she went to talk to Nicole and Victor about Xander yet never asked any questions ... in fact she hardly spoke unless she was playing referee. I just thought if she was putting together a psychological profile that she'd ask some pretty specific questions. Oh well, what do I know - she came out of it with a plan!
Chad was not much of a friend/partner the other year when Sonny was trying to expand Club TBD by buying that second Club and Chad went behind Sonny's back and had the contractor and inspector keep increasing the costs so Sonny eventually lost that second Club and bankrupted Sonny and Will. Sonny thought it was all his fault but it was actually Chad behind it all. Although maybe Sonny never found out it was Chad because that was the time Sonny found out about Will/Paul and Sonny got stabbed.

Orpheus slowly leaving while keeping his eyes and gun on John cracked me UP. I honestly don't even know why. He looks like my philosophy professor with the glasses and coat.
Too bad one of those rent-a-cops was n' t hiding around the corner and grabbed Orpheus as he walked backwards away from John. Where is Super-Rafe during all this? And super-Hope?

I liked today, bad staging and all. I love that Sonny acknowledged he should've stopped Brady and that he aided in endangering Joey's life. Plus he was so sweet with Paul- how they manage to give off schoolboy heart eyes chemistry in their mid-20s is beyond me. I chuckled so hard at that park scene though- must have been a long walk to the park complete with a stop at Sonny's hair dresser.

I liked that Chad had the flashback to screwing over Sonny, though the situation is different now kind of. Though with the way the scene was cut, was he remembering the actual screwing over or just the friendship bond? Are we finally gong to acknowledge that Chad torpedoed his business for funsies?

I didn't even hate Ciara today and I liked Theo and Roman. Orpheus and John looked like my grandpa trying to use a new gadget with those laptops in the park though and JJ's rent-a-cop costume tickles me every time.

I think some of you didn't pay enough attention because most of the stuff you say is missing was in the episode. It's just that the whole thing was rushed. We saw Clyde text Orpheus, we saw Sonny in the background when they said Joey has been found, etc.
I didn't notice background people today which is unusual for me. Was Sonny there the whole time? Did we see Theo leave Ciara?
Sonny was going to see if Caroline could make some food for him and Paul. He must have had a long conversation with her because he finally came back after they found out Joey was safe. He never did bring food to the table. All of a sudden Paul and Sonny were at the park bench talking about how Paul helped "save Joey" and the big hug (I thought Sonny was going to plant a big thank you kiss on Paul but I guess we will have to wait for that (Paul gets shot next week according to a spoiler pic) . CIARA was cleaning a table when Theo slipped out of the Pub right after Paul announced the video call came from Pier 17.

I have enjoyed Nicole today. Nice seeing her without Deimos.

Hmmm I wonder what's going on with Chloe? Nicole said that she called three times but no return call.
I think Deimos has Chloe.
This was my first thought as well.

I could see it. Deimos was desperate for that baby.

You got J. and O. alone with each other other than the bug in J. ear and phone with O. and the same actors played the parts years ago, and you don't show fbs to help explain their hatred for each other. :shame:
ICAM

I didn't wait decades for Orpheus to come back and finally come face to face alone with John to have them not even say one word about the past. Orpheus might as well have just been some random kidnapper John never heard of. I think GDH is great, and I've enjoyed Orpheus in his scenes but his return as Orpheus... In the role of Orpheus, as a historical Days villain, it has been a total waste so far.

Stupid for Kayla recovering to pretend she would be a help and needed to be there! Why would anyone ever thank Steve! ugh

Where did Kayla go anyway? It was just JJ and Patch. What was the point of her demanding to go with?

There's plenty of RoJohn Orpheus or Orpheus Marlena flashbacks they could use that wouldnt contradict things. I get you don't like Roman not being in this story but Orpheus did ask Roman to come and he sent John instead.
Well he didn't just bail on John, he bailed on Steve, Kayla and JJ who went to confront dangerous kidnappers (a PI, a doctor who just got out of the hospital and rookie cop)... apparently the Commissioner couldn't be bothered!! lol
Maybe ROPE called him with an emergency cover-up meeting.

LOL, now we are blaming Roman for some sort of cowardice? Let John take the risks? If the writers had wanted Roman there, he'd be there. They don't want him involved, as is abundantly clear. John would have been called, not emailed. We don't want Roman and orpheus to share a scene together where they discuss their actual history.
Uh, they haven't even bothered to have JOHN and Orpheus discuss the past LOL

Ugh, Ciara is terrible; she ruins every scene she's in. Robots just aren't ready for acting yet.
LMFAO!

Thank you.

Victor's claiming Xander was a loser because he became a career criminal? I'm trying to remember, but didn't Xander work for Victor by doing illegal things?
Yes. He's obviously putting on a front for Nicole and Marlena. The Xander flashbacks showed that.
