Quoting limited to 3 levels deepHouse Speaker Paul Ryan said he was "sickened" by Trump's comments and disinvited him from a planned joint event Saturday in Wisconsin with Priebus and Sen. Ron Johnson. Trump said he would send his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, to the event in his place while he prepares for Sunday's presidential debate in New York with Priebus and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
McCain too,Mccains own daughter loathes Trump, but McCain himself who Trump bashed endorsed him.😒
The republican party is a well-oiled machine. Even when everyone in the party (except that freak Ben Carsen) hates Trump's guts, they'll still publically support him no matter what. They're willingness to stick together no matter what is one of the main reasons why they're such a strong political party. :shame: I don't know. There is a huge chasm growing with in that party. I think because they so totally bolluxed this election year up they are holding kn to the broken pieced because it's all they have. But come November 9th, I see some huge changes coming. Whether that is in the form of smaller parties or what. But I don't think it will be the GOP as we know it now.

Haven't been on here much lately, but as a Days fan and political junkie I had to stop by here. I hope Ari is okay and isn't harassed too much. I really hope she knows that her fans have her back, and I encourage everyone to FB/tweet/etc their support to her. She's going to need it. Hardcore Trump supporters might take some frustration out on her. I'm sure she's got her friends and family. But fan support can't hurt. And I think it's wise for her to lie low for the time being.
Beyond that, this is just surreal. Sometimes I feel like soap operas, especially Days, has become this sort of "niche" culture. We all know the soap industry is not what it used to be. So when one of "our own" gets roped into something so big, so overwhelming, and something with such huge global implications, it feels personal in a different way. We hardcore soap fans tend to stay in our own little corner of the entertainment world, minding our own business. Now the record has scratched, the music has stopped, and everyone has turned their heads toward us.
But more importantly than that, I truly hope that Days fans keep up their support of Ari. And I'm happy to see her co-stars/friends vocally supporting her. If his supporters do that, shame on them, she did nothing wrong.

What event was Paul Ryan referring to thst Trump would no longer attend? But he didn't withdraw his endorsement of Trump. Empty words.
Excatly. He needs to cut off his support from this man now.
Enough is enough!

Montell Williams comment...
"I told you people this about Donald a year ago - unlike 99% of you I've known the guy 25 years."#TrumpTapes Yeah, as I said, anyone who has lived in the NYC metropolitan area over the past 35-30 years and has watched TV or read a newspaper knew this about Trump. As David Letterman said, "Nobody took him seriously" and anyone who can make fun of someone with a physical disability, as Trump did so publicly, is a "damaged" person "to be shunned." (Seems to fit Hare's criteria for psychopath to me...)
Letterman Has No Love for 'Damaged' Trump
Nothing at all surprising. What is surprising is that people flock to this ignoramus' defense and don't comprehend how treating women the way he does, and how spewing misogynist, racist, prejudiced remarks foments more bigotry and empowers hatred.

I was going to try to pull the highlights, but it might be better to get the live story.
The good news is that AZ seems to have dropped out of Twitter's top trends, although Nancy O'Dell is still there.

Thanks Jason. UGH... Nicole is throwing herself at Donald... and his reply is "I'm a happily married man"

That's just a character he's playing though. Those words are courtesy of Jodie Scholz, that episode's script writer. ---------------
Here follows Ari being interviewed by Lisa Rinna on "Soap Talk", a few days or weeks later. NOTE: When AZ tells LR she flirted with Trump, it was a reference to NICOLE flirting. Not AZ. As you can see from the Soap Talk clip, AZ was happily married to Kyle Lowder at the time. WITHIN this interview is a clip of the rest of the scene of Trump's appearance on Days.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFneEUeZQVY
^ part one of two of LR interviewing AZ. The Trump clip is at about 7 minutes into the video.
Spoiler: click to toggle ^ part two of two behind spoiler tag because it's not directly relevant to this discussion.
------------------------------
Note that in the 2005 Soap Talk interview, they mention that there had recently been a skit done on Saturday Night Live -- -- a skit which spoofed Trump's appearance on Days of Our Lives. AZ was portrayed by Amy Poehler! And here is that Saturday Night Live clip from October 29, 2005 -- -- it aired just 5 days after the actual Days episode aired. http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/trumps-cameo/n11987 Cast: Director of Days of Our Lives ....Seth Meyers Donald Trump.....Darrell Hammond Arianne Zuker/Nicole Walker.....Amy Poehler Transcript: http://snltranscripts.jt.org/05/05ddays.phtml

I'm just sitting her wondering how the hell this thread devolved into bashing the Clintons in relation to Trump's behavior Because people couldn't just talk about Trump's behavior. They had to bring in politics by talking about him running for president. It's natural that people will bring up why the don't like Hillary when you got post like this from Daysfanatic79 urging people to vote for Hillary.

This is back handed sexual harassment. It's not just "Locker Room" talk. WHY IS HE EVEN NOMINATED? I can go into my ideas, but then I'd end up being offensive toward someone and I don't want to go there.
VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!! I don't care if she's the lesser of two evils in your mind. The lesser of evils is the only real choice. I have three daughters. I have supported Hillary from the beginning because I'm pragmatic and feel she is one of the most well qualified people to ever run for this office.
This tripe is just a cherry on top, and I have a feeling the bombshells aren't over. Sadly, those who support him will keep on and shrug off a term like "grab them by their P##Sy. He looks at women like they are an item. He looks at the poor like they are lesser than him, and he's rich because of being well bred. He believes in the "race horse theory" that superior offspring comes from superior genetics from parents (In other words...."pure bred people")
Poor Ari. She isn't perfect but doesn't deserve this. I hope she responds. She must feel violated and no one deserves this.
VOTE!!! No matter how you feel about Hillary, can you really say He is capable of keeping this nation out of a major crisis? PLEASE do your civic duty and keep this douche bag in his marble tower in Manhattan.
Of course people will respond to that.

Of course people will respond to that. Except the off-topic Hilary/Bill stuff didn't happen in response to a pro-Hillary post. Like, I'm pretty sure there were posts alluding to Hillary/Bill bashing before anyone actually mentioned them by name.
Let's call it what it is. A bad attempt at throwing the Clintons under the bus to distract everyone from Trump's horrible behavior.
