Quoting limited to 3 levels deepI am definitely finished with it.
This thread was always intended to be a bash Trump support Hillary thread. They got what they wanted.
Plenty of people here are anti Hillary as well as anti Trump. Me, for starters, lol
Me too. Trump has said some terrible things, but that doesn't make Hillary this great person. The things she has said and done shouldn't be swept under the rug because of Donald' s mouth. I think it's hard to defend either of at this point.

I am an independent, btw. I agree with both sided on different issues.

Maybe someone should tell that to Trump everytime he insults minorities.
You think they don't?

You're making my point for me.
If you say so.

I just love the irony of people complaining they are in the minority on board because they support someone who targets minorities.

I'm not an independent. I see both sides of the arguments here too, though. Hillary is definitely not the choice I wanted for the party I usually vote. I wish I could vote for someone else, honestly.

But Trump has insulted Latinos, immigrants in general, women. He's mocked people with disabilities and has said he wants to take away "gay marriage." I'm not going to have anything to do with letting this man become president when he's against ME and several other people I know.

Bernie Sanders was a good candidate! Don't know why people did not worked harder to get him officially elected.

This is how I feel, I like some things from both parties, I am a fiscal conservative & a liberal on social issues.

Well, given that both major party candidates are actually, literally corporate criminals, it would be great if they were held accountable for their crimes and we started this whole election anew - or went to the seconds-in-line with Bernie and Cruz. Then that winner would be a no-brainer. ;)

I bet Ari wasn't thinking this would be the kind of day she had.
Everything is a shit show when Trump is involved.
The media dragged her into this. Seriously, standing outside her home :shame:
And she's trending on "YAHOO" right now. Know as "that actress".

Between Trump's ridiculous comments and the "killer clowns" phenomenon going on right now in our neighborhoods, it's like 2016 had become one big SNL skit.

Back to Ari, as Paul Telfer also pointed out, now's a great time to show support for her regardless of political party affiliation or your thoughts about her current storyline. http://www.arrow-heart.com/donate/
Absolutely! I sent a donation with the note "Something positive to offset the negative events today." Then I Tweeted the link and shared it on Facebook.

"When they go low, we go high".
I totally agree with you,Lysie, and Paul Telfer. It would be wonderful if something great came from the awful situation of two men directing humiliating behavior toward AZ (and Nancy O'Dell) by giving her financial as well as moral support. If everyone who supports AZ could donate atleast five dollars,it might go a long way toward mitigating the negatives of the situation.I also intend to make a contribution. Thanks to all for providing the link to her site.

I think you're making an assumption with your statement. Some people complaining I'm sure are supporting Trump, but others just simply want point out that certain people are attacked for having a voice that is in opposition to the majority opinion. I don't support Trump. I'll vote for Clinton because I don't feel I have any other choice. But I still think that assumptions are made about Republicans/Conservatives. I think they have a right to their voice.

Interested to see if they bring up this whole Days/Trump thing.

Serious question. When posters here make generally insulting comments about a whole political party, is the assumption that there's nobody on this board that might be part of said party, and therefore the insulting comments aren't actually attacks on posters (rather than the show, the actors, etc.)?
Because if that's the assumption, it's wrong. There are Republican/conservative voters on this board who don't appreciate being called crazies and rape-enablers just because of their political affiliation, any more than the Democrats/progressives here would like to be called names for theirs.

Do not assume that all Republicans (or even a majority of Republicans) wanted Trump as their candidate. Many of the most prominent conservative thinkers/pundits find him just as horrifying as their progressive counterparts and refuse to support him at all, even though they have no desire for Clinton to win the presidency. That goes for rank and file Republicans as well.

Generalization isn't fair and it does end up smearing people who actually agree with you on many subjects.
I didn't vote for Trump in the primary (I voted for Rubio). I wasn't going to vote in this election until I got fed up with Black Lives Matters, their violent protests, and their anti-cop propaganda. This made me look at things in a new light. The hardworking police officers of this country do not deserve the treatment they are getting and being labeled racist because of a few incidents. Hillary supports this movement and thinks everyone is "implicitly racist." She came out and pointed her finger at the cop in Charlotte (who is African-American by the way) before she had all of the facts so she could score political points. Our cops deserve a President who has their backs. So does our military. I would never vote for Hillary for a bunch of reasons, so I'm going to vote for the person who I feel has the best interests of our nation at heart and doesn't have contempt for the people voting for the other candidate ("basket of deplorables").

It doesn't matter if the Republican candidate is Trump, Romney, McCain, etc. They are always labeled as crazy, racist, dumb, and sexist despite the fact that women, African-Americans, and people of all races & sexual orientation support/supported them. It's used as the typical scare tactic to voters, especially younger ones. I get sick of hearing about how as a woman, I shouldn't vote for Trump. Hillary has done far more damage to women in her career than Trump has.

I agree with you. I cannot stand Hillary. Shes a lying self serving hypocrite whom everyone would be shocked to learn how she speaks ill of blacks and other groups she counts on for support ( as exposed on wikileaks)

BUT what Trump said reveals an arrogant ass who thinks every woman must be in love with him. Going to stay home this election.

I feel bad for Ari. I know SC posted a tweet today saying " If you can't laugh you will cry" without mentioning this Trump s***.
Hope both get through this okay

I think Ari will be okay. I don't see her being the focus of this at this point. Because of a state senate race and some local races, I won't stay home this election, but I will have a very hard time casting a vote for president. What a sad state of affairs it is when these two are our choices for president. The next 4 years will be very ugly for this country regardless of which one gets elected, IMO. Was this really the best both parties had to offer??

Hillary supports this movement and thinks everyone is "implicitly racist."
The term is "implicit bias", and it is an actual thing that actual psychologists have studied for a while. It is socially widespread and not confined to one race, gender, sexuality, religion, or, as it happens, to one career field. Fortunately studies indicate that implicit bias can be unlearned and thus you have police forces considering implicit bias training for their officers.

The Trump supporters in this thread getting all bent out of shape for being caught out are just hilarious reading.

The notion that as a bash thread this should be closed also hilarious as fuck. DR allows criticism of actors ..... Donald Trump is a former Days actor ... this would seem to be a no brainer unless of course we are talking about the buffoon running for leader of the free world then we all have to make a beeline for the clutching pearls.

Literally so many LOLs here.
