Billy Bush pushing that hug is still the worst part of that for me.

What's his role on Today?
He took over Willie Geist's role as one of the hosts of the 3rd hour.

I definitely feel Arianne Zucker should address the Trump scandal for the simple fact of making it clear that she had nothing to do with Trump other than greeting him outside the bus and walking him into DAYS and going over scenes with him and then taping the scenes.

Her speaking could end the rumors by fans (or so-called fans) who mistakenly think Arianne had a history with Trump before DAYS. I read some fans on Jason's site that think Trump was speaking specifically about Arianne early in his and BB's conversation. A trash site headlined that Trump almost had an affair with Arianne.

Arianne should set the record straight that she had nothing to do with him outside of DAYS.

Why should she?

I think her statement that this is "not about me" was the correct statement to make.

This tape is about Trump and Bush and their opinions about women.

Ari was just doing what she was probably instructed to do by her bosses, welcome them to the set, be charming, film the segments.

A trash site is a trash site and the sooner people realise these sites are full of unsubstantiated rubbish the more informed people we'll have making decisions in the world.

The innocent party shouldn't have to prove her innocence!

Ari doesn't owe any explanations to anyone. It's already been in the news that the first person being discussed was Nancy O'Dell, and Nancy has made a statement. There is simply no need for Ari to do anything at all.

I think the statement Ari already made is perfect: "It's not about me".

Tic Tac respects all women. We find the recent statements and behavior completely inappropriate and unacceptable.
:roflol:

This election has been hilarious and frightening. Couldn't even imagine it in a soap.
Lol, first skittles came out and made a statement and now tic tac. This election is crazy.

I don't know what he does on Today, but he may have gotten the job from kissing asses and for being a liaison for sex freaks/perverts.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I've learned about Black History, the civil rights movement, and how they used to be treated horribly by the police. Are there some bad cops out there? Sure. I think the majority of our policemen are good people doing their job. People have been quick to jump on these shootings without getting all of the facts first. Having said that, I can understand why African-Americans would be suspicious based on their history. I just wish people were not so quick to blame race before learning the facts.
And that's what the actual movement is about. It's not a generalization of all even though some extremists do try to make it that way.
When I see the unlawful rioting that took place in Charlotte and that man who killed 5 Dallas police officers, it makes me angry. Colin Kaepernick, who has sort of become one of the faces of the movement, wore socks depicting cops as pigs. The kneeling protests during the National Anthem I find totally disrespectful. They have a 1st amendment right to do that, but I also have a right to despise it.

There are some things that have happened that are terrible. That doesn't mean the message behind the movement is wrong or that changes don't need to be made, though.

I'm not sure Ari coming out and saying anything would help with that either.

Here is Billy at his job defending "kid" Ryan Lochte.

Between this and his apology about Trump video, he thinks men in their 30s are kids that don't know any better. Just immature and growing up.
He is an idiot.

If they are that ignorant, nothing Ari says will matter.

The bottom line is that the victim shouldn't have to prove her innocence.

There is no "used to". My opinion is that Your response is very dismissive as if slavery, Jim Crow and racial oppression is some long ago thing that's not really relevant. I completely disagree, but whatever...

Did you agree with your candidate's birther movement? Do you believe there was no racial motivation in said movement?
I've thought that from the first time I heard about the "birther movement" that it was one of the dumbest things I've heard of. Like Bush being the person behind 9/11 stupid. I never understood the logic behind birthism and it made people look like fools as I knew would happen. I can't speak to what Trump's motivations were.

What would be the point.....

I've just read some hideous tweets....

along the lines of Women should understand what happens in the locker room should stay in the locker room, women want Alpha males like Trump, My five brothers talk like that about women so that makes it OK.

I'd like them all to read the Kelly Oxford twitter details to see the impact of these kind of statements.

Hopefully they won't feel the same way when they can visualise these assault happening to someone they know and or care about.

The threat of these kind of things inhibit women's freedom and ability to contribute to society.
