I'm glad Ari gave tips on how to pronounce her name...especially since the debate moderator is likely to mention her tonight. *shudders*

"In looking back at our investigations into mishandling or removal of classified information, we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts. All the cases prosecuted involved some combination of: clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information; or vast quantities of materials exposed in such a way as to support an inference of intentional misconduct; or indications of disloyalty to the United States; or efforts to obstruct justice. We do not see those things here."

Straight from the FBI: no reason to bring criminal charges.

From Breitbart...

Here's some better information about it from snopes. http://www.snopes.com/comey-clinton-foundation/

There is bias everywhere. I certainly don't trust the stuff that I read from the AP or CNN when it comes to politics. Definitely not Huffington Post or Slate.

When Trump brings up Bill tonight, you know he will,he has been quoted and is on video supporting Hillary for how she handled Bill's affairs,he and his supporters due to the video with Ari keep saying it's over,it's 11 years ago, that's not who he is now,so he's not who he was 11 years ago,but Hillarys who she was 20-30 years ago, give me a break.

I hope they leave her out of it. :( I suspect Nancy O'Dell will get more press than Ari.

All kinds of articles out there calling Snopes out on their BS. I no longer believe most of what they say.

Comey has been a Republican for most of his life and was a member of George W. Bush's Department of Justice. Why would he cover up for Hillary Clinton?

Well, then I don't know the point of us posting any links here or reading anything ever. But Breitbart is labeled as both conservative and opinion, so it's not exactly news.

It's only fair that the Democrats and others have Trump by the balls because Trump said it's OK to grab women by the 🐈

I'm on my phone and can't read like I would on a laptop. I assumed it was because of my post. I don't know why I didn't just quit this thread yesterday like I said I would. It's pointless.
I'm finding it quite educational.
To be honest, I have done much these past couple of days (with the exception of work) but read this thread. I'm fascinated!

It covers stories the MSM purposely won't.

The thing is most of the liberal media was outed in those leaked emails as being the DNC cohorts. So that makes me very unlikely to believe them. CNN, MSNBC, CBS etc.

Washington can change people. Once you get connected to the establishment, it can become complicated. Look at John Roberts, the Chief Justice.

Or makes something of nothing then adds its own bias.

I have to come back and say something here because it is absolutely RICH that Bill Maher of all people would even comment on anyone's misogynistic remarks and actions. I've heard from someone who actually went out on a date with Maher (why, I don't know) - he's a COMPLETE pig. What an f-ing hypocrite.

I'm not sure what that means. Comey has only been FBI Director for a couple of years. Do you think people "change" that quickly? He was in Washington when he was at DOJ under Bush. How about all the other people at the FBI and DOJ who worked on the case? Are they part of a conspiracy? FBI employees are generally conservative, by the way.

There are definitely methodological differences that go beyond political bias. For example, Donald Trump loves to tweet media outlet polls that are in his favor. But many of them are not true statistical polls, rather surveys. Statistically sound polling has certain rules about sample sets that make the data more reliably representative. A survey is not held to the same standards. It's not simply that one favors the political candidate any one person supports.

They all have their own bias, though I don't think the ones you listed are to that level in that way. I'm not loyal to any one, but I believe there's only one MSM outlet I stay away from entirely. The rest I kind of compare and contrast.

Breitbart has an admitted bias and agenda which is great if it aligns with your own, but not great if you're looking for information outside of what aligns with that.

I'm not saying there is some sort of conspiracy. People change their loyalty's and views all the time. I don't know at all whether Comey had ulterior motives. I do know I think Hillary skated and I also find her very dumb for the whole e-mail mess. When I was hired for a government job, computer and e-mail policy was very clear. Don't mix work with your personal e-mail accounts. Only work on the secure government computers.
