He's only 6 years older than her, lol. It shows now, but it hasn't shown long. She wasn't baby faced.
She looks better now than 20 years ago lol. LOL. I just said that to someone else. She looks great now. She wasn't ugly then, but she does look better now. I wish there were a way to say that that didn't sound like an insult.

I also wonder why the hurricane was named Nicole. Maybe the weather people play in the sands without sticking their heads in it or it was simply time for the name to be used. Nonetheless, it's the perfect storm!
It's a crazy coincidence, the National Hurricane Center has a set of names they recycle every 6 years (unless a hurricane is retired like Katrina). After Matthew, Nicole was next on the list, it just happened to coincide with this story, :o

LOL! Hurricane Nicole is a real hurricane out in the sea that might make a landing to the USA. The poster use the real weather and compared that to Ari Zucker just to make everyone laugh.

I like a good sense of humor, so I got what 4ever DAYS was saying. And I agree with this post that there were lists of names of the storm. The weatherman chose Nicole without knowing that this Trump mess was going to come up.

For what it's worth, storms are named in advance of the storm. We already have the storm names for 2017.
http://geology.com/hurricanes/tropical-storm-names.shtml
And if I understand correctly, if a named storm becomes a damaging storm, that name is never repeated.

For me I wouldn't have had them sleep together and get engaged the same day he was marrying Kristen. Or Susan or whoever that was as Marlena joked that day.
To top it off, not only did they rush that, they had Roman appear directly afterwards. After years of hurry up and wait, they rushed the whole thing and started a new disaster right after.
It really was weird. That payoff was so damn good and then you get the rushed fallout and then on to the next story. I know JER was leaving so they likely had to wrap up alot of things before SSM took over but it was such an odd time. The pacing was just so unlike JER. And the Roman thing is just odd. I think that was something JER had in his back pocket if he needed another reason to keep J&M apart because that is what he liked to do but it's weird that he would play that card when he did in his final months of material. I always felt like SSM wanted no part of that story or the jungle stuff. I know she kept the jungle madness crap going for a few months after but I think she just used that because it was there. Once her material started airing, she wrapped up the jungle stuff pretty quick and, within 3 months, Roman learned about J&M and that whole mess of a triangle came to a pretty lackluster end. It almost felt things got pushed up and JER was forced to use the Roman and jungle stuff to fill the rest of his time on the show because the only story left without a payoff that needed to play out was Carrie/Austin/Sami. Every other story had pretty much finished.
It probably would have gone three more years if he stayed LOL. And it was so half hearted. I don't think anyone felt she was actually going to choose Roman. It was just guilt upon guilt. My bigger problem then was the clear hope John direction they were starting in the jungle. Oh and that room of baby stuff they found at the compound Yeah, JER said that if he had stayed on Days he would have had Roman and Marlena actually get married during their wedding in the hospital chapel right before John came back with the cure. Thankfully by that time SSM was in charge and had John return in time to stop it.
The room with the baby stuff was mentioned by John in 2003 when he, Marlena and Tony questioned Rolf about Rex and Cassie. I wonder what the original idea was. There was also that covered gurney that Stefano told Kristen not to touch.

Kristen under TomSell >>> whiny pathetic Kristen of the 1990s. She was a droopy, pathetic mess back then. This time around she got different love interests, new rivalries (while still keeping her old one with Marlena in tact), got to explore her relationship with her family, got to have a sense of humor, and yet still be a crazy mess. She was more layered this time around. I would trade at least 15 characters on this show just to have Kristen back for 3 measley months. It really pisses me off that HigQuan aren't apparently bringing her back. Well, I blame that on Higley since Quan said he wants to write for her.
They probably can't afford her. Well they certainly can fire some people and pay for her salary...

Yeah, JER said that if he had stayed on Days he would have had Roman and Marlena actually get married during their wedding in the hospital chapel right before John came back with the cure. The room with the baby stuff was mentioned by John in 2003 when he, Marlena and Tony questioned Rolf about Rex and Cassie. I wonder what the original idea was. There was also that covered gurney that Stefano told Kristen not to touch. Yeah that's pretty much what I thought. Thankfully JER left and SSM took over, aside from the Princess Gina stuff I did enjoy her writing, I'd take her writing today over DH.
JER was given his own soap and he finally got his dreams and botched and stalled all the "rootable couples". It took like 8 years on the series finale for his main couple to finally get married and he stalled a triangle much like Bo/Hope/Billie, John/Marlena/Kristen for 8 straight years!!! And his other "endgame" couple (w/Galen ) I believe, didn't even end up together and don't get me started on all the supernatural hulks pocus that made absolutely 0% sense.
The man was a trainwreck. Thankfully he left DAYS when he did in the 90s. Yes he did give us Maison Blanche, Aremid, the Secret Room... some worthy story with good payoff but the execution and sloppiness of these stories were just awful.
There was a time I was watching Passions and DAYS at the same time in 2004-06 and it was clear that he was writing the same thing for both shows, just change the actors but the storyline were the same
