thejoshdixonI have a good feeling about this. @_marcimiller_ & @thejasontobias in our upcoming #starwars short film. #gorogue

So Marci will be in a Star Wars short film and not the actual movie that comes out in December. Too bad.
Thanks for explaining.

I never could understand why he wasn't suspicious something wasn't ok with that bizarre Elvis-themed wedding. It was grotesque.

At least Brady didn't sleep with Susan lol.

I never got to see John and Kristen as a legitimate end game couple. By the time I started watching in 1996, John and Marlena were clearly end game. So I've never had a real connection to John and Kristen as a couple like others might.

tHEy never really felt endgame at all. I started watching in 1996 too and all the previous episodes from 1992 onwards were leading to John and Marlena. From the pit, the docks where they admitted their feelings, the party where the psychic said that the name of the woman he loved started with a "M" and he covered it by saying "Yeah, Morrison! Rebecca Morrison" but it was very clear the psychic meant Marlena, Christmas with the watch she gave him "To JB for giving me time" and the charm bracelet he gave her, heck she gave him a better present than she gave Roman, the affair where they were clearly in love with each other... Marlena's pregnant where they made it very clear that baby was John's, there was literally no suspense about it, since the DNA tests were switched J/M were basically forced to move on and he did rather quickly with Kristen which just felt like "second best" Belle being born at the Cabin with John and Kristen helping her to deliver was all about J/M and to cement their bond even further (on the eve of Isabella's death), naming the baby Isabella as to create a bond between John and the baby, John and Kristen going off to find baby Isabella when Samantha kidnapped her and was going to sell her in the black market and them bringing the baby back to R/M was all about John and Marlena not Roman and Marlena or John and Kristen.

Yes they distanced themselves after the affair and Isabella's paternity was revealed but that was mostly due to guilt, regret and denial for both J/M. Marlena did everything to fix her marriage and John chased after Kristen relentlessly. then we had Maison Blanche, again all about J/M being trapped together... bonding and Ro realizing Marlena did in fact love John.

Then came possession where John was the hero and saved her from the Devil. And then came Aremid where Marlena was 100% by his side and Kristen had doubts about his innocence and yelled it in court for everyone to hear. Reilly just used her as an obstacle.

It was always about John and Marlena, I never saw Kristen as a viable contender. John and Roman were viable contenders for Marlena in 1991 during the whole Tale of Two Romans but Kristen was never in Marlena's league as far as John is concerned.

That's how I always felt it was too. And then I thought about the John/Kristen/Tony triangle, and figured John and Kristen could've been considered "end game" during that story.

True either than Marlena, I only ever felt 'IT' with Diana Colville and his relationship with Isabella was pretty sweet!! I loved it.

Kristen and Marlena had the best dynamic though.

I disagree, John has never and could never reach the levels of stupid we have seen by EM's Brady.

John was stupid, but not THAT stupid.

Aremid was the beginning of the end for Kristen...and it was the story that began to turn her evil.

I liked Kristen before Aremid...I enjoyed her all through The Possession story...she was rootable and I enjoyed her and John's attraction during that story while she was still with Tony (who I also liked). I also liked the Marlena/Kristen friendship before and during this story.

Also Drake & Eileen DID have good chemistry, at least IMO. They did not have good chemistry when she returned for the 2nd time, but back then they did for sure.
