Shouldn't Julie be with Jennifer and JJ? I guess I'm suppose to care about Deimos' feewings? About how damaged he is, blah blah blah? Thank god the show hasn't forgotten about the great love story of Victor and Maggie! Victor is selfish. He treats Philip like crap, and doesn't care about what he might be going through, but he has no trouble confiding in him about his own problems. What happened to that cruise Victor and Maggie were going on? |

How sad that I'd rather see Deimos there than Brady. At least Deimos looks the part in a suit. Brady just looks like an overgrown child and his behavior only emphasizes that. I know they'll never do it but holy God John deserves to tell Brady, "I told you so," about that awful bitch. He just blew off false rape like that's not evil and a despicable thing to do. I'm thrilled Theresa is gone but at this point, Brady should be two steps behind her. He's an absolute waste of a character. What a travesty of writing for the son of Days' most iconic couple. :x |

I think I might be interested in watching Maggie and Victor if the show didn't portray them as this meant-to-be couple, and loves of each other's lives. There is nothing realistic about them. He treats people horribly, she yells at him and he soothes her and they make up. Same thing all the time. Why doesn't Maggie ever question that maybe she never should have married Victor Kiriakis? Why do other people pretend those two are this perfect wonderful couple of Salem? They are not Tom and Alice! They are not Mickey and Maggie! If they insist on keeping them together at least try to make them interesting.

What I don't get is this Deimos/Victor competition thing. Their father loved Victor more? But isn't the age difference between them ca. 25 years? When Deimos was 10 Victor was 35, when Deimos was 20 Vic was 45. What competition? |

Good episode for me, I was surprised because I thought I wouldn't like it. I think I was tired of the endless stunts with the 3 villains, now it feels like we are starting more traditional stories. Guillermo is sexy, I enjoyed his scenes with Blanca and Dario, that was my favorite part. The rest was alright, I'm disappointed Brady didn't have a bigger reaction to Theresa's lie but I didn't expect anything else from him. I'm still glad this secret is out before she leaves. I hope Victor and Philip get closer, their scene together was cute. With Victor retiring, it will be interesting to see who gets to run Titan. Nicole is going to tell Deimos about Chloe, I don't know how I feel about that but it's good that there's some progression on that front. |

The actor who plays Guillermo is good. But why do writers think the audience is interested in things that happened off-screen several years ago? |

Today was a boring episode! Thought there would be a big drama with Theresa & Brady, but I guess I was wrong. Oh yeah, I would have wanted Lucas to meet Blanca too! Just saying! |

I wasn't expecting to like today quite as much as I did. I think the villain story was a let down. It has some good points, but overall not what I was hoping for. This episode was more enjoyable for me personally. If some things play out the way they were suggesting I think he Deimos/Nicole story might get good. When Deimos thanked Nicole for returning his phone I started to suspect he left it on purpose so that she would hear him talking to Phillip and to guilt her into confessing the truth. That just made this story interesting if that is where they are going. I tend to think that Deimos may have kidnapped Chloe simply because Nicole still can't get in touch with her. I can't think of any other reason for her to be MIA. I don't mind Thrady the way others do and actually enjoyed them. I think if Theresa didn't have the history she does or had been properly redeemed there might not be the hate for this pairing. I do think they have chemistry. It's not amazing chemistry, but I think they have chemistry. And the new villain is interesting. I really wish Blanca was staying, but I think Guillermo is going to be an interesting story and quite honestly this does kind of play into what JL said about not being able to guess how Theresa goes out. Other than possibly dying, I don't think anyone suspected a villainous guy from her past being part of her exit. Edited by jennmarie, Oct 21 2016, 06:34 AM.

I'm not sure what age has to do with whether a parent loves one more than the other? I mean, I get what you're saying, they didn't grow up together, so it's odd for Deimos to feel like he was in competition with Victor for their father's love. But actions speak louder than words. Deimos and Victor's father left Deimos to rot in prison while Victor had the family empire. So I can see why Deimos was resentful. |

I can't because this was all made up. When this was supposed to be happening in Greece, Victor was in Salem dealing with finding out Bo was his son from an affair with Caroline years earlier (also not in Greece) |

I wasn't watching in the 1980s so I can pretty much except anything they put out. I wouldn't even know any different if I didn't come to this board. But I can definitely see how those who were watching in the 1980s would be confused. But as far as Deimos, he does exist now, so I can definitely see why he's upset. What I don't like is him being a good guy. Actually, I guess he isn't. Just pretending like he is. What I don't get is why people trust him at all. |

The rivalry was supposed to have been an issue before he went to prison. That's what does t what makes sense. He was 20 and Victor was 50. That definitely does t fit into the history we know, but aside from that, what 50 year old is fighting with a 20 year old over who daddy loves more? That doesn't make any sense. |

Well the way I see it, and of course you may see it differently, it's that the rivalry was very one sided. You mentioned their ages. A 20 year old (and younger) is still pretty much a kid, so I can definitely see one being resentful if the father didn't love him and only loved the other sons. I don't think the so called rivalry was in the 50 year old Victor's mind at all. This was all in Deimos's mind. Now if the same line would have come out of Victor's mouth, then I'd be on board with what you're saying. ;) |

One sided? Victor is the one who put Deimos in prison for something he didn't do. That doesn't seem one-sided at all. Victor did say similar lines. I don't disagree with you in general, but I do think they've tried to sell it as a legitimate rivalry despite the fact that it doesn't actually make sense. |

This episode was terrible (just now watched the full thing). The only thing I liked was the tie in to Maggie's history, but it wasn't worth it to have to watch Maggie and Victor, so... I wish Theresa's exit would involve her getting stabbed in the face with a tree. |
