Umm, NO! I'm the one that started this whole thing by saying I thought we had enough babies for now and I was one of the ones screaming the loudest that Theresa did not need a baby, so NO I did not single out Nicole!
Not the only one anyway. I feel like you're the one singling her out. Multiple people have pointed out how she's not being singled out and given evidence of how she's not. I don't even disagree with you about there not being too many babies (that's worded oddly...I don't think there are too many babies), but have you really not seen this argument used every other time a pregnancy is mentioned?
To be clear, I do think sometimes there are too many baby STORIES, but not too many babies. You can have babies on a show without having baby story after baby story. I think if Days wouldn't focus so much on the pregnancies and paternities, people wouldn't burn out on the babies so much.

Nicole has spent the past year and half declaring her undying love for Tan. Perhaps they won't even try romantic Ericole during GV's next run. And she's become such a worthless and boring character.

I don't think a Dickole baby means Ericole isn't happening. At least there's story there, there's angst. I see zero storyline possibilities between Generic, they have zero angst. He's a good guy, she's a good girl, his family loves her, there is absolutely nothing stopping them from having a happily ever after. But what the hell do I know.
I said I wasn't opposed to them going there. I didn't say anything about them having incredible angst, lol. I wouldn't expect that pairing to be "the" story or even really "a" story, though I do think they could use them as part of something possibly. I'm not really rooting for it necessarily, but I'm not opposed to it. I have a hard time seeing how they'd manage to make Ericole happen if she has a baby belonging to the man he killed. Yes, that could provide drama. It's just that the way they write her in regards to Daniel makes that seem very unlikely to me. Sure, it could happen. I just don't see it. I feel like y'all are responding to me like I've written the next six months of the show, and this is what I've chosen. This is what I think might happen because we currently have a hack writer. It's not what I'd choose. Just admit that you sent Dena a stack of Post-it notes. We all know it was all your idea.

He said this person was a return and big surprise and a huge part of Nicole's past. That doesn't sound like the spawn of Dan.
Kenny lies... LOL! It's more like Kenny doesn't even know what's going on on his own show...

I meant before she left Salem, after the paternity test was done.
I think by that point she's bonded with the baby and isn't sure she wants to give it over to bio-mom Nicole, especially, while bio-mom Nicole is all over Deimos. That is, of course, assuming Nicole is the bio-mom. But I've been speccing it since they signed pregnant Nadia. Why stop now?
I am curious to know....where you guys having this idea that Chloe is carrying Nicole's baby??????????????? I really don't see in it....

After Nicole told her she was with Deimos and trusted him, Chloe said she couldn't tell her what she was going to say.

Thank you! I see now with the info of what people were thinking! I just hope its not dead Daniel's baby and Nicole's. That would be, that we will be hearing about Daniel in the months to come. And that Maggie would be a grandma again.....

The show usually isn't subtle so if they're going with Generic, I would expect some mentions soon. So far Nicole is bringing up Eric every other day, and making a point of telling Brady that she can't forgive him. But yeah Generic is the story, bring on their zero angst story, I'm sure it will be just great. The sarcasm was positively dripping from that last sentence. :P

There was a story years ago on GH about a dying woman wanting to have a child with her husband via surrogate. That was set up well and written beautifully. So that was a case in which a deceased person having a baby born after they passed away made sense.

So I am guessing we might see this with Chloe carrying Nicole's baby of Daniel's????? Or maybe Deimos, but that would be too bizarre, because I don't want her and Deimos to end up together :shithitfan:

I was sort of giving that as a contrast if this is a Daniel/Nicole baby. That was a good story, this wouldn't be because it wouldn't have nearly the depth of storytelling that one did. Daniel and Nicole were not written like they were the loves of each other's lives.

With all the talk about baby stories and that the children are the next generation and blah blah blah then I can only say the only kids that I want to follow and see on the show in the "future" is Sydney and Johnny Dimera their genes tells me that they will certainly have super interesting personalities. Just saying.

Write revenge stories, power brawl, anything but scratch ridiculous Who is the father and so on. Thanks.

Nicole seems to be written as just never being good enough for her man of the hour. I think they always have written Nicole as a weak woman with low self-esteem, she has always had a problematic relationship with men, and men have been able to walk all over her. Such a shame that they write female characters that way. Damn annoying if you ask me.
