I love seeing Kayla that much, but honestly this just proves that quantity does not equal quality.

I feel like some of those days she had like one or two scenes too.

Aren't we getting everything we wanted - stories for vets, returns, adventure storylines, some family interactions, soon we'll get Jen and Adrienne buying Spectator. But why isn't the show getting better? Lol

Because the writing is very, very, very shallow.

I'm not getting what I want, and quickly losing interest in the show.

I'm just holding on for Abby's return and her story with Chad, Gabi, JJ, etc. I don't have a lot of faith right now based on what I've seen in the other writing and if she doesn't get a POV, I'll probably stop watching.

It's exactly like the MarDar era. On paper it all sound good, but the execution is terrible and just makes everything...MEH. It's very paint by numbers and there is very little depth.

Perhaps I'm the only one that is enjoying the show. It isn't perfection and I don't expect that for a show that has to put on 5 episodes per week. I think they have made very good use of the returns and done a much better job of family interactions, better interaction among characters, using the vets, and keeping the action going. I think they have listened to much of the criticism and are trying to respond to viewer past complaints.

They are bringing back Greg Vaughn.
I like the introduction of the new story for Theresa.
We are getting retribution for Hope killing Stefano.
They are attempting to put some romance back into the show.
Paul and Sonny are getting closer.
Jennifer is getting back into the Spectator.
They are keeping story going for John/Marlena and Steve/Kayla.
They have cut back on the teens and Victor/Maggie.
I think they will split Nicole from Deimos.
The new Abby will appear soon.
I think they are hitting the beats of stories better.
They are working on getting Justin and Adrienne back together.
I like the new Valerie.
They have brought back some good sets like the docks, St. Luke's, the full Brady pub.

I see these as all positives. Just my opinion.

I'm looking forward to this as well. Also, Eric coming back. I just hope it's not one big disappointment.

I'm also still holding out hope that they get Nicole away from Deimos and give her a better storyline. Lucas as well.

I agree. I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat and I do think there have been missteps, but the family relationships is big for me. Also, bringing GV back and giving Jennifer back the spectator along with including Adrienne are all good things. I'm hoping though that the show in January is better than it currently is. I kind of like it now (better than this past summer), but not enough. I want to be enthralled.

Yep. Only difference is that unlike them the show is actually playing out Higley and Quan's stories whereas with MarDar alot of their stuff started getting tossed out and messed around with before it even started airing.

Didn't Dena say that this time as far as storylines are concerned she won't let anyone dictate her how to write?

I'm looking forward to this as well. Also, Eric coming back. I just hope it's not one big disappointment.

I'm also still holding out hope that they get Nicole away from Deimos and give her a better storyline. Lucas as well.

They need reverse Will's death put Lumi back together marry them and send them off because They don't know what to do with Lucas
