The case of Prospect Park Networks LLC vs American Broadcasting Company has been dismissed, per the latest status available on the Los Angeles Court website (lacourt.org). According to the online records, the case was "dismissed" on Thursday, December 1. The details are still unknown at this point. The Court set an order on October 5 for Prospect Park to show cause or have the case dismissed on December 1. The October hearing focused on Prospect Park's Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing, and its impact on the case. What does the dismissal mean for the future of All My Children and One Life to Live, the longtime ABC daytime soap operas that were brought back online after being licensed by Prospect Park? Stay tuned. http://www.welovesoaps.net/2016/12/prospect-park-networks-vs-abc-case.html [twitter=SerialScoop/status/804721017482461184] According to the Los Angeles Court website (lacourt.org), the case of Prospect Park Networks LLC vs American Broadcasting Company has been dismissed. So what does this mean for the Prospect Park episodes? Can ABC use them? Despite them not having the money to continue I thought both reboots were better than anything we got on ABC in years and had potential to grow into something big had the funding remained. Will be interesting to see if this means anything. |

I do not believe there is a shred of hope to see AMC and/or OLTL on ABC. They cancelled it years ago. Why would they suddenly revive the shows? I haven't followed this story of the law suit, so I have no idea why ABC even went for it, but I do not believe this means ABC will bring back the shows. |

It was PP that launched a lawsuit against ABC. |

They're definitely not coming back. ABC was foolish to slash what they did but it's done and dusted. I'm happy to see Prospect Park's lawsuit ultimately fail because it was absurd and their lack of preparation ultimately tarnished the way these shows went out. |

AMC and OLTL will never return to ABC....but I guess this improves the chances of the characters being revived in some capacity on GH. |

Just what GH needs, more characters and actors/actresses on a bloated cast already. |

I would love it if they had Roger Howarth go back to playing Todd ... the Franco recast never worked for me. |

Once Trevor St. John took over the role as Todd Manning, he was Todd. I remember Trevor trying Todd in the chair waiting to be executed that was such a reciting scene. |
