so Y&R is leaving the Dullan role open for a recast. hopefully its someone that can act.
I think they mostly didn't want to have another death on the show. Too many widowers otherwise. Months from now, a year from now it will be Dylan who? then they will recast just as Sharon is ready to move on with her life and probably in the process of getting hitched again. suddenly in walks Dylan (with a new face)......and whooops the wedding/marriage is off.

well the show is interrupted by the Orange Man with his Orange hair.
The one show that was actually good in the last 3 weeks gets interrupted. What timing! :shame: hahaha........ yep, timing.

If that's the case, I hope its Nick. Sharon dumps Dumb dicky Newman for Dylan by running into his arms. :cheer: :cheer:

what I noticed with the writing team, they can write 15% accurate business story, and 85% rubbish business story. seriously......what are thinking? Jack acquires a company by having endless lunches with Gloria

Jack acquires a company by having endless lunches with Gloria  other than Gloria with her sneaky tactics and one-liners, the business story lost my interest. its not written that well.

Today's episode was another really strong one. I wonder if these old/new script writers pre-LML are the reason for that?
Cane is being a total douche bag. I don't even really know what to say about that because it seems like his reason for not wanting Lily to model is a little selfish. I loved Lily's reasoning for wanting to model though, the fact that she just feels like a housewife and not actually seen or appreciated for herself alone. Cane should respect that.
ITA about the dialogue. Know Sara Bibel is back and it shows. I think the dialogue has been great and the characters have a bit of personality now. Maybe it was lame, but I thoroughly enjoyed when Victoria said she was a good teen and Nikki laughed. She literally laughed in her face and I loved it. This is the kind of reaction I want to see from characters. When someone says something we know not to be true, in the case of an adult child having selective memory of their youth,I want someone to call them out on it,lol. And I thoroughly enjoyed Lily today. I love that she is back to modeling and having a personality. I always thought she was a young Cricket when she was a teenager. Then they saddled her with assby and she became window dressing on Winters Island When she talked about Dru,and how connected she felt to her mother I was sold. I always thought it would make sense that Lily may feel inferior to her mother. Dru was written to be this larger than life character and her and Lily always butted heads, but we know deep down lily admired her mother more than anyone else in the world What episode are you all talking about? Today's (1/27) episode (breakdown/script) was written by Natali Minardi Slater and Janice Ferri Esser. Both have a long history with Y&R but both were writing for the previous regime, too. Yesterday's episode was written by Lisa Seidman/Susan Dansby. Btw, it likely means Lisa left Days.

other than Gloria with her sneaky tactics and one-liners, the business story lost my interest. its not written that well. Even Gloria's sneaky tactics weren't much to write home about. What did she actually do? Flirt with some investors.
The only thing keeping it afloat was her one liners lol. What did Lauren do to make Gloria pay? She caved.

Anyone notice how slim MTS looked today and yesterday? She looks fabulous and they finally put her in a dress that didn't make her look like Victor's mother instead of his wife.

I'm sorry, for being mean. But a short while ago I thought she had a liposuction (it was more than a month ago). But maybe not. (Btw there's nothing wrong with that, I'm considering one too LOL). I liked that dress too.

It doesn't matter if she had liposuction or not. Boob jobs, botox and face lifts are done all the time on this show. MTS looks great.

I thought she looked great earlier too. I hate that there's a pressure for women to look slim. It's like the Western world doesn't have more serious issues than weight and cellulite.

As heavy as she had gotten, I don't think a LIPO would make THAT much difference. She wasn't heavy and she has beautiful proportions even when she isn't "TV-slim".
