Only good thing for Days is the drop this week was tiny compared to the other three soaps who had huge losses. But they have start gaining viewers quickly once more this is the second week running they loss viewers lets hope they recover next week. Look how much they down from last year and last this time last year was so suppose to be bad. But having said that the other soaps are down as well from last year may be that will save Days in the end NBC will see less fans are watching soaps these days so these on the box and more online so it won't affect them if or when they renew Days again.

Those are weak numbers for what is usually the most watched month of the year. I'm scared that we'll see record low ratings for all the soaps in the spring.

The next week will be the week Days moved to noon in NYC. I wonder how it will affect their ratings.

New York Market = 7.35 million TV homes, 6.4% of the total.
http://www.nielsen.com/content/dam/corporate/us/en/docs/solutions/measurement/television/2016-2017-nielsen-local-dma-ranks.pdf

Based on that, I would estimate that 150,000 Days viewers are in this market (6.4% of Days viewers)
Let's say the move to noon causes the show to lose 20% of its audience, that would mean a loss of 30,000 viewers. I don't know if 20% is a reasonable expectation, I think that's too high? I mean maybe the first week a lot of people will not be aware of the move but then they will find the show again?

maybe more people start DVRing because from what I've read the second half of Days now airs against the 1st half of Y&R (like in some other markets).
Or people who watch both Sony soaps will only watch the first half of Days and then switch the channels if the show isn't good enough.

I would think starting before Y&R is an advantage for Days but who knows? Daytime viewers don't like to change their habits.
