and the music box story is back.
was this a JFP or MAB storyline?
because after Ms. Sussman's scathing interview about her predecessors stories.
should we be surprise that she has not gone back to yet another story brought to us by her predecessors?
The music box was JFP and I think it was Altman/Passanante. This stupid thing is going to be used to redeem Colin and put him back with Jill when he should really be sent packing :puke:
so far, the new Regime new stories brought to was:
EXCESSIVE amount of Boretoria with Villy pushing
Victurd/Pathetic Nikki sitting in their living room playing Chess or just talking about irrelevant things.
Ravi
Fenmore stupid business story that have more holes than a sieve.
now Scotty so-call international kidnapping

the other stuff like:
DickSea was started with Pratt
Dylan's Miami Vice department was already set.

I was suggesting in the other thread that this could be a case of mistaken identity. This may not be Lauren's son Scotty but some other dude who also goes by Scott Granger. That would at least be a twist lol

That's exactly why he is going to show up at Lauren's door and say my phone was out of battery.
because how else are the writers going to correct this contrive rubbish?

After that whole circus they put together for Miami Vice you'd think they'd at least hire an extra to pose as Scotty in a dark cell or something.

But imagine, Lauren thinking she's getting Scott back after begging Victurd, then she looks at the guy and goes : This is not my son!!

I dont know where the writers are going with this stupid Lauren/Scotty story.
because if Scotty was taken while being international........Paul has NO jurisdiction on this case.
if its international, then its involved the FBI and US State department.
Lauren wouldn't be walking around now asking Victurd for help.
So whatever the writers were thinking when they came up with this again.....stupid story, they were thinking about not even the tiny details.......but the big details.

Christeeeeeen should be in this storyline or even Ronan (who is with the FBI in Washington) or Chance (who is doing a stint at the Pentagon).

Lauren, nor the audience, hasn't even seen if Scott is alive or dead or held captive. How are we supposed to believe this and invest?
even Cricket's involvement would have lead a 'tiny' credence to the story, because she can work with the State Department

or even re-use one of the actors that they dont feature everyday like Boretoria.
they could use Greg R (Kevin).......because he wore a chipmunk costume for almost a year.

The makeup people looked they had to work their asses to get Tracy Bregman (Lauren) to look haggard for her character.
too bad, her face does not move.
They made her face deathly pale, and put red all around her eyes, but that forehead isn't the forehead of a worried woman. :ermm: Just sayin'. ;)
TB (Lauren) couldnt move her face to show the shock worrisome look.

Pros: They brought us Gloria and her one liners, Bitchlary away from 40 Watt sort of.
Cons: Everything you list plus Clown Colin.

Btw, how many episodes its been since there is no follow up on 40 Watt kissing Bitchlary??? But we gotta be subjected to Reed and his sad attempts at holding a note.

its probably around 4 episodes.

Yes, Gloria and her one-liners are definitely a plus when it comes to episodes that have way more Boretoria than anyone else.

How much time are we going to give Drunkki before she blabs to Victurd about Jack's new sex partner?

If I was Nikki, I would have told Victor the second I walked in the front door and then fell out laughing. lol

It was started by Griffith/JPF and continued by SA/JP (Jelly).

I dont even know what to say about Victurd/Pathetic Nikki.
why bother feature them if there isn't a story?
just another waste of airtime that could be given to characters who mattered......and NOT Boretoria.
I disagree, I like seeing Victor and Nikki in the supporting role better. They aren't young 30/40 somethings anymore who should be leading story.

I love Jill to death, in fact she's one of my favourite characters but I worry about SS using her so heavily and so fast. The same thing can be said about Lauren. We the viewers have gotten used to barely seeing them, so the build up to their storylines becoming this heavily featured should have been slower.

Right? Just 7 months ago everyone was complaining that the characters were on too much. There is no winning sometimes, lol.

I'm confused about that too. Victor being front and centre was one of the biggest complaints on this board and now people are acting like they are annoyed when he pops up on screen here and there instead of being front burner.

HUH?!

And the accusations that this writing team is trying to sanctify Victor and "ignore" all of his misdeeds and victims like that already hasn't been done constantly on-screen for the past decade??? Which is not even really happening, tbh. All we've seen of Victor is the writing team remembering how he puts an emphasis on his family.

The "great" love of Jill and Colin (really? where?) is suddenly this front burner storyline. It only highlights how Jill made a bonehead move by acquiring such a husband, with bonehead Clown Colin losing all her money needing Kay's box to redeem the Clown :shithitfan: First off, they never presented me with the rooting value for this pairing so why would I care about Colin making things right? There isn't one in my book anyway. I expected Jill to kick this loser to the curb and ream him out like Katherine would but we all know she will take him back so he becomes a permanent fixture on the show :shithitfan: :shithitfan:

I was really hoping to see a strong, independent Jill minus Colin :sadwalk:

100% agree. I think a story about Jill could have been done without Colin and maybe they could have tried bringing in someone new for her. Colin seems like a big baby and he's old as fuck.
