Again, Y&R focuses way too much on the older characters. Its bizarre. |

I saw an article that says Sean Spicer's press briefings get more ratings than the soaps do. Also FOX and the others ratings have went way up. Maybe things will get back to normal soon?? http://nymag.com/thecut/2017/02/sean-spicer-gets-more-viewers-than-actual-soap-operas.html |

Depressing. Days gained 300,000 viewers in November/December and lost all of them in January. |

Y&R: Would do better if they focused on developing their younger generation. Right now, for me anyways, none of their pairings interest me: Lily & Cane...boring! Nick & Chelsea...feels forced and no chemistry! Billy & Victoria...also feels forced, the ship has sailed when Billy Miller left! BUT Billy & Phyllis do have hot, sizzling chemistry...Y&R would be wise to take advantage of it. DAYS: Their ratings will not get any better while Dena Higley's material keeps airing...AWFUL! After Friday's episode, I'm totally disgusted with the show. I had to laugh that Sean Spicer's press briefings got more ratings than soaps do. Not surprising though, since it is more soapy than the soaps themselves...Never a dull moment, LOL! |
