These are awful and this was the week of the renewal announcement no wonder Corday did it last week i think he wanted to show no matter what the ratings are now NBC was still behind his show and proof of this was been renewed again. |

DAYS must still be making good money for NBC if they were renewed at these numbers. |

They probably got renewed on certain conditions NBC will give them less money to produce the show as ratings have been bad for a good while now and told Corday either take the offer or they cancel it. |

I feel NBC renewed Days for 2 reasons. They feel the show can be successful again. Days has a LONG history of losing viewers and being able to draw them back again. I also think the network doesn't have a replacement in place yet. Will that be the case in 2018? I just hope the show can save itself like its done in the past.

Yep. They will keep renewing it as long as it makes some profit and they have nothing better or viable. That simple. However, I do think they are running on empty when it comes to chances given their current state in the ratings. They got two renewals in a row at near record low numbers. I don't see it happening again next year, at least not without significant concessions. They need to get the numbers up and, thankfully, the show has a history of doing so but it needs to stick. |
