B&B only soap that can hold its head up high as it only soap up from previous year. On Days all i say is they are lucky they can write off next say 3 to 4 months of ratings until new stuff airs they have another renewal that is all that matters NBC will judge how they do in July. |

I think CBS buying Sony could help Y&R. Otherwise their budget will be cut. Have we heard about the renewal yet? Edited by thepadange, Mar 10 2017, 07:27 PM.

At least GH is doing not so bad in W18-49. Both Sony soaps have huge losses in total viewers and demos. |

BUT Sally was trained personally by Bill Bell. I remember hearing that all day. Why does it seem like all she did was fetch his coffee? She sure doesn't write like him. She's so boring. |

She was great as a storyline consultant. I think she had a good run in 05/06 and I still like her ideas but it's reminding me a lot of Days in 2012 when they had that reset and brought in MarDar. The ideas were good, however it was executed poorly. |

I have been watching a lot of Y&R lately, starting with Sally's first episodes and I enjoy the way she writes most of the characters. I haven't watched the show much those past 10-12 years, maybe that's why it's easier for me to get into it. I agree it's a little slow and boring, she starts a little stories and it just stays there. She needs to pick up the pace and rethink some of her couples: I don't like Nick/Chelsea, Billy/Victoria or Chloe/Kevin. |

if Days could get renewed their crappy numbers, it is safe to say Y&R is good. |

Current Y&R demo numbers are similar to Days numbers in 2014. W18-49 are a little lower and 25-54 somewhat higher. I wonder if their budget will be like Days budget in 2014 lol. |
