I'm happy Y&R won for best writing. If Days had, I wouldn't know what to think! :blulaugh:

From the clips, Peter Bergman should have won best actor.

I've never really followed B&B, but I did watch Y&R and GH quite a bit. Y&R is the better show between those two hands down.

I think Billy Flynn should have won for best actor. He put in some serious work with that entire Abby/Ben storyline and again after she *died*. I liked PB's reel but he spent the entirety of 2016 acting like a blind fool and then had a few good moments towards the end.

Absolutely thrilled for Kate Mansi. Love her. But she definitely wasn't supporting. And while no big deal about a BF or RW mention, it would have been nice if she had especially since Billy is nominated this year too. I think the normal custom is to acknowledge the primary stars you appear with. SC, GT did I noticed. For me, its the equivalent of mentioning your spouse. Can you imagine MBE or SN not mentioning the other? Or one of the DHs - not that there is the long history between KM and BF as theirs. At least she doesn't have to go to the studio tomorrow. LOL

I kinda felt a little bad for MM. Not only is she having to replace a very popular actress in the role but she had to be there tonight with all the KM hoopla and see her win. I hope she isn't bothered by it but inside I'd honestly be just a little...

Agree the voting split between VI and BF may have contributed as was likely the case for the two Y&R actors.

It's hard to say who should have won best show since I don't watch them all - only DAYS.

Hoping RC was watching GH win tonight and made him even more motivated to make DAYS terrific. I assume he was gone by the time the episodes submitted for GH were put together.

Much of this type stuff is a popularity contest and always a head scratcher on how some of the folks win. Till next year!

Scott Clifton has barely done anything in 5 years that would qualify him for Voldemort's performer of the week, let alone best lead actor.

I don't think Marci was or will be bothered by Kate's win or all the "hoopla" she seems down to earth and her costars seem to adore her. I don't think one should feel slighted by another's success. Kate hugged Billy on her way up to the stage. I think that was her way of thanking him.

I thought BF had much better material in 2015 than 2016. I was pleasantly surprised he broke into the Lead category. Clifton submitted as Supporting even when he was Lead. Maybe he should have taken a page from him.
